The song of Achilles - review

It's been a while, but here's another book review :)

The Song of AchillesThe Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow. No words to describe how this book made me feel.
I've never been a person that's interested in history (never liked it in school) but ancient Greece, Greek myths, and ancient Egypt (which has nothing to do with the book) have interested me ever since I was young.
Once I started playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which takes place in ancient Greece, my interest for the subject grew bigger, and when I found the book I KNEW I had to read it.
It's amazing how everything is described, with such detail and emotion, and we get to know our main characters so well, which is why I was so caught up in their story.
I think I unknowingly learned some important things from this book. Not just historical facts, but life lessons too. It is a must read for every book-lover.
